We are so happy to announce that on 8th March, International Women’s Day, the company has raised £1,800 for Phoenix Women’s Aid! Everyone within the company has contributed to this in one way or another, from baking cakes and donating money, to wearing something purple, which is the colour that represents the day. The staff have had a lovely day at both of our sites in Harworth and Doncaster, where we took the time and effort to make it a special day for everyone and get the whole team to participate. We ate a whole lot of cake, (some 5/6 pieces, you know who you are) but all for a great cause that Pass are extremely proud to have been a part of.
Moreover, a massive shoutout to Phil and his team at Yorkshire Handling Equipment (UK) Ltd because £530 has come from them. They reached out to us on LinkedIn after seeing that we are supporting Phoenix and suggested that we buy 2 pump trucks from then and in exchange the money will go to the charity. What a wonderful gesture from another local business. We are incredibly appreciative of this lovely sentiment – it’s the little acts of kindness like this one, that help create a difference.
Pass Logistics are so pleased to have been able to help a local charity. As a business it is so important to us to give back as much as we can to local organisations/charities and get to know all the amazing people who are running them. Every little helps, and Pass are looking forward to continuing to make a change locally. A massive thank you to the whole team for participating and getting involved. We’re grateful to have such a fabulous team, and can’t wait to help Phoenix wherever we can in the future. 😊
