PASS LOGISTICS PARTNERS WITH FRAIKIN FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH BESPOKE CONTRACT HIRE AND RENTAL PACKAGE

We’re excited to announce that Pass Logistics has taken delivery of 12 new 6x2 tractor units through a combination of contract hire and short-term rental from Fraikin.
Operating within our busy 24/7 logistics operation, six of the new tractor units have been supplied on a full-service, five-year contract hire agreement, with the remaining vehicles arriving on short-term rental. Replacing a mix of previously owned and leased trucks, Fraikin created a bespoke package specifically designed to simplify our fleet-related costs and administration.
Adrian Sullivan, our CEO, explains:
“Due to a sequence of unfortunate circumstances, we had previously been forced to purchase several vehicles via a finance package from our former contract hire partner. Unfortunately, those trucks proved to be unreliable and left us with costly financial burdens. Fraikin completely turned that situation around.

The new contract hire deal covers full servicing, repairs, licensing, scheduled safety inspections, annual MOT testing, tyre management, roadside assistance, and 24/7, 365-day customer support. Our six rental vehicles will also benefit from round-the-clock care, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacement vehicle cover where needed.
Fraikin’s intuitive maintenance portal, FRAIKinVIEW, will give us greater visibility over all scheduled and unplanned work, enhancing our safety standards and operational efficiency.
We’ll also benefit from Fraikin’s MYSMARTFLEET connected technologies package, providing real-time data on key performance metrics such as distance travelled, fuel efficiency, and driver behaviour – helping us make smarter, data-led decisions that enhance our service.

The delivery of our new trucks coincides perfectly with our recently announced shirt sponsorship deal with Doncaster Rovers. In celebration, each of the six new contract hire trucks has been named after a Rovers legend: Alick Jeffery, Billy Sharp, Brian Stock, Colin Douglas, Francis Tierney, and James Coppinger.
Operating from our Doncaster headquarters, Pass Logistics delivers a wide range of services across the UK and Europe. Each of our new vehicles is expected to cover around 130,000km annually, helping us continue to deliver outstanding service for our customers.
