Meet the Management Team

Adrian Sullivan

23 years in electrical wholesale from sales counter assistant to spending 10 years as a sales executive and then 9 years as business manager. Growing a new depot in Doncaster to a £10 million a year branch, managing kpi’s, profit and loss and account management sales team. Working on all operations managing 250k worth of stock and trusted to forecast and implement year on year growth and bottom line EBITA profit. Managing contracts with such organisations as NG BAILEY and Balfour Beatty making sure that each service provided was delivered on time and in-line with KPI’s contractually agreed with the customer for each major project such as the new build Manchester City Etihad Stadium.

In 2017 Adrian entered a new industry launching ParcelPass. The business quickly grew and has achieved continued growth year on year, progressing the business into a logistics partner turning over £850K in 2019. Providing transport solutions for a number of major logistics organisations and corporate clients across both the UK mainland and Europe. Using his vast knowledge and experience in the electrical wholesale sector, he has built ParcelPass in to a very healthy, respected and successful business with a forecasted turnover for 2020 of £1.6 million. Adrian specialises in building teams based on unity to achieve common goals, that work with each other to focuses on improving and developing the lives of each member of staff. His own self-belief and willingness to grow and learn is one of his major strengths, and as such, works in schools as a volunteer locally to inspire the next generation entrepreneurs, speaking to over 1000 children in the local area. Winner of Doncaster’s 2018 start up business of the year award.

Richard Silvester
Managing Director

Richard is a focused and highly motivated operations director, with wide ranging skill set and business experience gained across a variety of industry sectors. Having spent 15 years in the Electrical Wholesale industry working up from the warehousing & distribution departments to holding senior management positions within high volume and large income revenue businesses. Richard in responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies as well as implementing robust systems and processes to continually improve productivity and efficiency. Richard is also responsible for the monitoring and reporting of KPI’s, overseeing staff development and ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations. A people manager, Richard’s operational leadership, has supported the year on year growth of ParcelPass.

Caroline Burns
Finance Director
Caroline is a vastly experienced senior manager and a key part of the SMT, who started her career in the NHS. She quickly developed her organisational, management and people skills whilst working her way up to Primary Care Commissioning Manager. Having an exceptional portfolio of organisational people management skills portfolio, support delivery, negotiation and performance of primary care contracts, implementing national policy changes and payment processes. Since leaving the NHS in 2011 Caroline continued to develop her management skills, including time management, prioritising, goal setting, decision making, and when the time was right, decided to launch a family business that built to a £3m annual turnover and employed a workforce of over 50 staff. Her key qualities are in finance, where she has developed robust financial systems and processes, cashflow control, and management account reviews, whilst implemented a new transaction software system for both the UK mainland and Europe. Caroline has a keen eye, and attention to detail, she constantly ensures everything is to the required standards and as per the companies contractual and legal obligations. Caroline is a loyal and hardworking member of the ParcelPass family, and continues to drive and support the SMT team towards their goal of business continuity and financial security.

Commercial Director

Matthew is an established, experienced and successful Supply Chain Manager, backed with 12 years within the global FMCG arena, holding senior management positions for both national & internationally established businesses. He has a successful track of developing Operational & Supply Chain systems and processes within high value and high-volume environments. Results focused and customer led, Matthew has the ability to establish and develop effective long-term business relationships. With experience in the application of modern formal methodologies and techniques, he looks to deliver significant operational efficiencies whilst driving down costs and improving ROI. Matthew is responsible for strategically developing commercial logistics & warehousing systems, processes and procedures to identify development initiatives to improve productivity and increase profitability. A consultative leader and manager Matthew has built and developed cohesive teams, to achieve company commercial objectives.
